Belmont Street Stormwater Improvements

Update:

9/28/2026: Crews have completed all pipe installation and concrete restoration along Fairfield. Asphalt restoration is scheduled to be wrapped up in October and Fairfield will re-open. Crews will continue to install storm sewer near the west end of Belmont Street.

Project Overview

This project will tackle poor drainage and flooding along Belmont Street with the installation of a storm sewer that will connect from Calhoun Street to Fairfield Avenue. In addition to alleviating flood water, this will also help with water quality and stormwater storage as well.

This project will be conducted in phases, with future plans to be announced soon.
