Country Club Gardens Ph I – Hazelhurst Drive Stormwater Improvements

Page last updated October 12, 2026

LATEST UPDATE: Construction is complete. Restoration is taking place.

Project Overview

This project installed 2,000 feet of new 12-15 inch storm sewer structures and inlets. Any storm runoff will now be redirected to the Graham-McCullloch drain. There were also be improvements made to the outfall including a permanent erosion blanket, some new plugs and seedings.

Most of the Country Club Gardens neighborhood did not have a drainage system or current lines are failing. There have been multiple concerns regarding standing water during heavy rain events.
