Mamajo is just under the two-mile mark, and crews recently installed a slurry pump, which is needed to pump rock back to Dwenger Avenue. You can see the pump in the photos along with the tubes carrying electricity and air and the rail track. When the tunnel is completed, these items will be removed, leaving the concrete-lined 16-foot-tunnel (pipe).
