Victoria Park Area WMR

Page last updated April 21, 2025

Project Overview

Expected completion date: December 2025

City Utilities will be replacing the existing water mains in the Victoria Park neighborhood in order to provide you with the most reliable drinking water service. This replacement is necessary to reduce water main breaks and increase fire flow capabilities, in addition to improving the city’s water delivery system. Currently, the area has cast and ductile iron water mains which are prone to corrosion and breaks. Crews will replace these aging water pipes with  high density polyethylene pipes. The new pipes are flexible and durable.

This project includes nearly 1.08 miles of water main lines. Homes within the project area will be reconnected the new water mains.

This project will include lane restrictions and road closures once construction starts. The City will host a “Meet the Contractor” meeting before construction begins in Winter 2025.
