Project Overview

City Utilities’ engineers have completed construction for a sanitary sewer force main to be installed in the surrounding neighborhoods. The design hopes to bring a 16-inch sanitary sewer down St. Joseph Center Road to a lift station east of Reed Road, next to Medical Protective.

The goal of this project is to help reduce basement backups and sanitary overflows by increasing the capacity of water storage and helping with wet weather flows. Service will not be affected to existing customers but traffic may be affected to those travelling on St. Joe Center Road.
